Most clubbers and gig goers don’t think to grab earplugs when getting ready for a night out, but if you know about the risk of hearing damage, you’ll know they are critical. Watching a Gig and even a short stay in a nightclub can quickly lead to long term, life-changing hearing damage, but if you know that you’ll also know foam earplugs distort music and can ruin the fun.
Minerva Gig and Club MusicPlugs are the high-tech solution to hearing protection for clubber and gig goers. They combine a comfortable custom fitted earplug with a flat attenuation filter so you can hear music clearly, but at a safe volume. MusicPlugs are discreet, so nobody need know you are looking after your hearing, you can combine colours and glitters for a funky stylish look that stands out.
The Green 10dB filter* is recommended for most environments although if you are attending particularly loud events the white 18dB filter takes the noise levels down further. Dont worry if you get it wrong we are happy to swap out filters with our exclusive filter exchange programme *
The filters are interchangeable if you need to swap to a different filter strength as your environment changes. Filters are also available to purchase separately.
*Filter exchange is available within 30 days from dispatch of order. One exchange per order.
*Music plugs with pale green 10dB filters fitted are sold as a comfort product not CE certified hearing protection as they deliberately do not meet the minimum SNR required in order to achieve the desired frequency attenuation.
