Bagpipes, especially when you are practicing in closed spaces, can produce tremendous volumes. These volumes may not be uncomfortable, but they are slowly but surely damaging your hearing, which can create difficulty pitching and performing in the future. This damage is preventable though, and Minerva Piper MusicPlugs provide the necessary protection for pipers without interfering with your performance.
Piper MusicPlugs work for pipers because they include a filter which lets you hear sound clearly, just at a reduced volume. A vent also allows sound to escape from the ear. This is crucial for pipers who use sound conducted from their instrument through their skull to help with pitching; without a vent this sound would echo and distort.

We offer our unique filter exchange program should you find the need to change.

The filters are interchangeable if you need to swap to a different filter strength as your environment changes. Filters are also available to purchase separately.

Filter exchange is available within 30 days from dispatch of order. One exchange per order.
